Think Safety Program
Safety programs work best as eliminating injuries if the
employees are fully trained, are constantly aware of how to act safely, and are
continually motivated to act safely. In 1995, MATSIF introduced the “THINK
SAFETY” program. This program is a comprehensive, employee training/safety reward
system custom designed for MATSIF. Safety training topics are written by the loss control
staff based on real-life accidents. Some
of the key benefits of this program are:
- Provides each member with a turnkey employee safety
training program.
- Fulfills mandatory MIOSHA employee safety training and
documentation requirements.
- Provides employees with award opportunities from Wal-Mart
and Cabelas, and a second chance opportunity to win cash prizes.
- Provides grand prize award opportunities for member
companies who participate.
